I remember going to the Ashes in Australia 2006/2007 and experiencing Melbourne Boxing Day 2006. Had their second coldest Boxing Day in history. It was dull chilly (about 14c) and missly with a wind coming up off the Antarctic. Stayed like it for 4 or 5 days with gradual improvement. The last 2 days in Melbourne it was blue skies and 30c. Of course. When we then got up to Sydney it was raining there as well and high teens. It did imorove though!
oh eck! the day we went to Ayres rock in Oz it rained. First time in a couple of years
