  1. The Met Office lady keeps saying it's going to rain yet it seems to be sunny and spring-like in London every time I'm out and about. 12c and Sunny now.
  2. Yes,in London and the South East it has rained a bit every night but all week the days have been mostly sunny. France keeps getting pummeled with serious rain.
  3. Nobody should EVER go to Birmingham without having an escape route planned whatever the weather.
  4. Not huge rainfall totals in last 24 hours at the official sites. Problems being caused by saturated grounds and councils failure nowadays to clear drains of autumn leaves. Creaking infrastructure too.
  5. Certainly soggy underfoot in the local park . Very autumnal. The parched days of summer are a long time ago now.
  6. 69.8mm of rain so far this month in South London. Will the 165.8mm in October 2020 be beaten? We shall see. Interesting times weatherwise.

  10. Saturday's weather should certainly be interesting. These next few wet and wild weeks will make up for the endless tedium of recent weeks.

  12. Yes,it looks windy out, though I won't be leaving the house now that we are under a 'weather warning'. Too dangerous.
  13. Bit of a shame the so called cold never reached here. 20c just now. Onwards with the perpetual summer.
  14. Actually a nice change in London this morning. Good drop of rain last night,8mm,and now everything nice and fresh. Damp and surprisingly dark mind. Autumn has arrived.

  16. Much cooler air pushing south as early as Monday now. Looks like a one day warm spell for those in Midlands northwards.
  17. Autumn arrives down here middle of next week after a slight warm up over weekend. I would imagine it's going to be pretty chilly oooop north as early as Monday.
  18. I haven't had time to check those northern places but certainly for us in the South East predicted temperatures continue to drop for this weekend. As I said a few days back,a brief warm spell.
  19. Two day wonder now at best down here. Certainly nothing of note Midlands northwards.
