Well at least there won't be any hose pipe bans next summer thankfully.

Well at least there probably won't be any drought issues in the SE next summer. Always a worry.

20c is still a bit of a nip in the air under cloud.Having said all that 20c is just a distant dream now. The long march to April begins. 20 weeks to go.
May in most parts of the country to be fair. Looong way away.

Another decent day in London. Mostly sunny with temperatures up to 14.2c. Quite springlike actually. Very brief shower this morning but otherwise very decent day.

After the morning damp, fog, misty drizzle clagg has cleared the afternoons this week have been fabulous here with warmth, calmness and sun
Same here in the capital. Very decent afternoon again. Calm and sunny. Quite spring-like actually. The Met office lady promised heavy squally rain. LoL

The Met Office lady keeps saying it's going to rain yet it seems to be sunny and spring-like in London every time I'm out and about. 12c and Sunny now.

I love lavender... and yes, plenty of it here too.
Exactly! Here it mostly rains at night and it's lightly clouded to sunny during the day....
Yes,in London and the South East it has rained a bit every night but all week the days have been mostly sunny. France keeps getting pummeled with serious rain.

4 hours and counting to get from Stoke to Birmingham, and no way to get further onwards to Plymouth. Nightmare.
Nobody should EVER go to Birmingham without having an escape route planned whatever the weather.

69.8mm of rain so far this month in South London.
Will the 165.8mm in October 2020 be beaten?
We shall see. Interesting times weatherwise.

It’s not even raining much in the south west today but all trains between Birmingham and Bristol are being cancelled, so I’m going to have to be a bit clever to make it to Plymouth. Good thing my thicket is valid on any service!
Autumn is my least favourite season for weather.
Can't beat a thicket mate.
Anyway,here's today's lesson children.
Put these words in the correct order.
Britain rains In sometimes it autumn.

We’re doing Lapland with the kids in mid December. Should be good, Narnia esque.
Drinking al fresco in Southern California at the moment on my work trip, temperatures pushing 30c here earlier today, but much hotter not too far inland. Highs in the mid 30’s were forecast today for parts of interior California. Back home on Friday morning to wind and rain….
Some very early autumn cold up in Scandinavia already. Some great webcam pics on Windy.com.

Where has this awful forecast suddenly appeared from? No more sunshine and instead days on end of rain, possibly significant amounts with flooding. This is why autumn in the UK is depressing.
It's called Autumn weather.
We get that in Autumn quite a lot.

After a wet start to the day, reasonable since with sunny spells and temperatures up to 21c. Feels mild out there. Breezy though.
Yes,it looks windy out, though I won't be leaving the house now that we are under a 'weather warning'.
Too dangerous.

After today/tomorrow, I wonder when we'll see temps like that again.
Next April or May.
A very long time when you think about it.

More thunder and lightning here in the last 2 hours than we had all summer.
