    Well I heard one clap of thunder.. but the storm went 4-5 miles west of here. To be honest, the thundery rain we had/having today is what I expected yesterday morning. Sadly the violent thunderstorm caused the death of a family friends pet cat. ~ The cat never liked thunderstorms.

    There is a cell between the two cells over Rennes forming! ~ a few sparks from that ~ It's a full on saw heading up through Nantes though, a huge line of sparks! ~ Potentially another storm developing behind it on the coast at Pornic

    they were in that photo, ~ but yes, I had to digitally zoom in all the way ~ so atleast with a nice 135mm lens.. I will be prepared! the camcorder also has a nice zoom of x38 zoom .. so I could do a small time lapse later on any potential towering clouds ~ Here is one I took a couple of years ago. Was a lovely tower timelapse !

    I'll have to find my DSLR charger get some rich photos on the go ! ~ I pad just doesnt quite cut it ^_^ ~~ mean while the Camcorder is still time lapsing.

    Looking at the satellites. That thundery downpour in Mid West wales was just the beginning. Yes I see the cloud building from the South of France. But also cloud developing over the channel into SW England, and West Wales. ~ So there could be some isolated thundery showers becoming more frequent with in the next hour.

    I hope so to! Absolutely love thunderstorms, if I could find my proper camera I would record them like I used to :/ ~ then we had a few years of no storms.. and my charger is temporarily hiding at home.
