    I'd say give it a chance. By this time tomorow expect big upgrades to gfs output as it finally catches up with stra and trop events

    Underststment if gfs wins out. As someone else pointed out if there's a lesser more boring Pattern shown in the minority sods law is it will manifest over any more interesting forecasts

    What's the longevity of the ssw and what charts can be trusted to reflect this duration or are they as open to change as the models themselves on a strat and trop basis as they appear to be now?

    How many times has this happened I lose count. Its ridiculous really. What does it take for us to strike gold. Or are the models in a state of flux from the ssw still. Someonw mentioned they would upgrade and downgrade in equal measure before the harvest can be reaped. Harvest lol

    I tend to agree l about gfs being not far off the mark. I would like to see it start modelling some fantastic cold snowy charts as would anyone who likes cold. I find it galling that it's been put back to. Week three of Jan. Will that be recurrent? I Hope not... Mm

    The charts are all over the place. What is one to tell my mates when they ask whether the UK will see snow? BBC and other sites going with no but yes to Europe. I thought that there was a great deal of uncertainty around our island or do we need to just wait and see. Any input would be appreciated

    Hi Jethro Don't think you'll be excluded. Just a matter of time. How much is anyones guess but I think we maybe talking a fair duration of cold and also widespread so hold on in there and watch....

    Totally agree. The gfs in particular isn't factoring in changes that have begun in the trop let alone the strat!! I Still think the runs will progressively Become more impressive from Hereon in and the impact of which should be felt around 15th as progged.... That's my take on it.
