    Clear skies in Canterbury just hit -0.1C really low so early in evening considering we are 7 miles from sea

    There was snow at 7:30 and 8:30 big flakes which stuck on the previously laying snow or frozen areas perhaps 1/2 cm in places but Sun has melted it on roads & paths already

    Blizzard conditions in Canterbury now. Complete whiteout. Obviously sticking as it is 0.2C with already laying snow and ice beneath

    Except for 30 minutes of rain it has snowed now for 10hours in Canterbury. Wet snow but still laying

    Canterbury apart from brief rain at around 10:30 has snowed solidly from 7 - 1:40 . Quite wet snow but is sticking even on roads loads of schools having to shut at around 5 - 7cm now earlier snow melted or it would have been much more ,1.2 C

    Yep it's snowing lovely ,slushy on roads but laying on the grass on my land.. Nr Canterbury
