  4. The rain is back here this morning, no frost now, we had a good frost in the ground last week which was nice. On the plus side as the days get longer the evenings are starting to get much lighter now, sunset today at 4.19. If the cloud breaks we might get to see it. Take care everyone and good health to you all.

  8. Another day same old weather, hopefully we may see some sunshine by the weekend, im missing my sun fix. Take care and good health to you all.
  9. Rain again here after that sunny spell. If the North Sea temps are 2c higher then normal, that bodes well for a Hot Summer, thats something to look forward too.
  10. Well we did get sunshine for nearly half an hour here , but its clouding over again.
  11. Wow, I Have just seen a chink of blue sky in the lead grey cloud. But it quickly filled in again, but is this cos the air is starting to dry out a little. I Do feel a change in the air this morning.
  12. Sleet here in East Dene. Sleet is such a waste of a perfect snowflake. The ground is far to wet for any snowflakes to land. Take care everyone. Good Health to you all.
  13. Top of the morning to you all. Got to get some more logs for the fire, that involves a long walk down to the bottom of the garden to the Log shed. In Drizzly cold rain. Yes its another dull damp drizzly frost free morning here in EastDene. Now really pining for some sunshine, we need some clear skies.
  14. Im sure the BBC Weather at lunchtime showed 9C. For the weekend outlook. Probably changed now less it was wishful thinking, BBC Week ahead weather going for something less cold by weekend.
  15. Light at the end of this grey drizzly cold. Temps up to 9C. By the weekend. With Sunshine we hope. Take care everyone, cheers and good health. Time for a snifter.
  16. The rain just keeps on coming, temp is 3c Still to warm for anything like Snow. Ground is far to wet, we need some frost in the ground. But never mind, if it was not for this horrible cloud, the sun would be out. Take care and good health to you all.
  17. Top of the morning to you all. It would be a smashing day weatherwise if it was not for this constant low cloud and drizzle. Never mind, Spring is round the corner. Looking forward to some sun. We will all need plenty of sunshine after this dreary winter is done. Good Health to you all.
  18. Super sunny day here in East Dene, bit cloudier this afternoon. It was a total washout yesterday, 20 years ago that would have been Snow. We have a North East wind here and no sign of snow, just more drizzly rain, how our climate has warmed up. Never mind, nice roaring log fire, Large G and T. And Will Hay in Oh Mr Porter on the tv. Good Health to you all.
  19. Cloudy, dull, temp at 2C. Here in East Dene. Time for a large G and T. And afternoon in front of a roaring log fire watching Back to back episodes of Friday Night Dinner. Good Health.
  20. Totally remember the classic White christmas 1970, lived in Peacehaven on the south coast, we had drifting snow, proper powder snow. It was great seeing those charts from that classic snowstorm. Thank you never seen charts from that day. I Was only 10 years old. Good Health to you.
  21. Smashing day here, so nice to see the sun. Temps gone up to 2c. Still a frost in the shade. Lots of talk on a snow risk tonight, think thats not really going to happen, that weak system to the west will only produce light drizzle if it reaches us. Friends living not far from Dartmoor reported rain. We really do not need any more rain. Take care, time for a G and t.
  22. A Proper frosty start here in East Dene. Much prefer the sunny clear frosty weather to the dull damp drizzly weather of the past few days. Good Health to you all.
  23. Still too mild for any snowfall here, no snow fences up, the farmers always know. Still need a hard frost in the ground, otherwise any snow will soon melt on the warm land. Not been a lot of sunshine since that northerly blast, usually you get clear skies in Artic winds. We even have daffs in bloom now. Nature is a little topsy turvey. Soon be mid day then i can gey a little tipsey. Ha ha. Have a nice week everyone, stay safe and good health to you all.
