A Dull start to Monday Morning, we are having a light shower of rain here at the moment. Looking at the radar it looks like it will soon pass. I Do hope so, my good wife has put the washing out on the line already. Good Health to you all.

Happy today, much fresher feel. Still plenty of sunshine but decent temps. The storm Early Friday hours filled the water butts, and the lawn is looking good. No need to do the watering tonight. Have a good brew instead. Good health to you all.

Another very hot day, this reminds me of the summer of 1976. Lived in Peacehaven then, can not remember any rain from end of March till the end of August in 1976. Every day we had blue skies like today. Our Climate has changed so much. As its been so warm a change from Hot too cold chat, does anyone have any records or knowledge of the great Christmas Day Blizzard of 1970. Again we were living in Peacehaven, right on the east sussex coast and we had a lot of snow, proper powder snow that drifted a lot. Take care everyone, the best of health to you all.

Another very warm and dry start, we really do need a splash of rain. As the past few springs have been dry, it does seem the new norm too have dry very warm weather early in April and May. If it follows the trend we will have Huge Thunderstorms in July with lots of lightning and then a wet end to summer. 15C. Here now in East dene. Hi All, sorry for delay in posting. We had an epic Thunderstorm with a surprising amount of lightning and very loud close thunder on Friday night. Started around 10.45pm. With a superb amount of rain, which was very welcome, filled the water butts right up. The garden looks nice and green now. What a very early start to the thunderstorm season that was. Thought we would miss it all as a very keen East wind made it feel cold in the late evening. Back to Super Sunny skies today and feeling warm . Good Health to you all. Stay Safe.

Well its like a mid winter day here in East Dene. Cold Dark and wet. Moderate to Heavy rain Dull skies. Temp only 6c Thats 46 F. But The good thing is there is no wind. Straight down rain. A Day too stay indoors with a roaring log fire. A Tipple or two. Reading some very old Dandy comics.

It was a lovely Sunny day. Cut the grass, did some potting in the greenhouse, now time for a tipple or two. Gone chilly now under clear skies. But we did get up to 10c today 5oF. Good Health to everyone.

A Smashing morning here in East Dene First day of Spring calm winds blue sky and sunshine feeling warm temp at the moment 9C. Thats 48F. Warmer in the sun. Very windy yesterday, what a diffrence a day makes.

The sun was nice but big shower clouds developing lots of convection, not surprised there was a lot of warmth in the sun we did get up to a dizzy 10C. thats 50F. in old money not bad in a cool westerly set up.

Wow A Sunny morning with a hint of Spring again. Temp at 8c. Thats 46F. in old money. With much lighter winds and clear skies we should reach 10C. Today. Even more in the greenhouse. Will Celebrate with a lunchtime tipple. Have a good day. Good Health to you all.

Well Storm Dennis was a bit of flop. But its very mild here in East Dene. Temps up to 13C. 55F. In old money. Just drizzly here with light winds. Looking good for next weekend with predictions for 14 or 15C. Temps you would expect in March. The lawn needs mowing, but its a bit wet. Good health to you all.

Well as we head into the last stage of Winter, not one flake of Snow. The local farmers must have known, as they did not put up the Snow fences, to protect the main road from snow drifts this year, first time ever. Wind is easing now. The temps still fairly mild. Good Health to you all.

After yesterdays smashing day we have a return of cloudy skies, the overnight rain has cleared, so hopefully some sun before dark. Sunset today 4.51. Nearly at the spring 5.00 deadline. Temps are a barmy 9C. 48F. In old money. Looking forward to getting some work done in the greenhouse this week. So hopefully we might get some high pressure. Fingers crossed for that sun too come back out.
