Weirdly, that's exactly what we've just experienced here. It feels really mild outside, far more than the actual temp might suggest. 15.6mm the rain total for us from this afternoon's efforts.

We hit 20.7C in the middle of day. Felt really warm and humid. With the arrival of the rain this evening, temperatures are dropping very rapidly. So rapidly in fact, you can see them dropping by tenths in real time on the weather station display. Down to 12.8C now and still falling.

Quite a light show on the coast with almost constant lightning both over the sea and due west of here. Completely silent (at the moment) -
A very pleasant 22C with blue sky, bright sunshine and a southerly breeze. Perfect conditions, and so much more comfortable than last week!

31.3 the max for us today, and, like others have reported, completely still with no breeze at all. Some high cloud later in the afternoon just dropped the temperatures a little, but still plenty hot enough!

27C at the moment. The weather station is saying the humidity is down from yesterday, but it certainly doesn't feel like it!

Yes, very different to yesterday, with a deep blue sky from the word go. Just touching 28C here now.

Yes, that was the lowest max temp for us since mid-May.

After a relatively calm day the wind has picked up noticeably this evening. Also temperature is down to 13.7C - the coldest in the last 24 hours. 10.4mm the total for us today (so far).

Really windy this afternoon, but with warm sunshine and blue sky. The Goodwood Festival of Speed was cancelled today - the first time since it started 30 years ago.

One year ago today, local max temperature 28.9C. Today's max - 19.2C The rain is very welcome though - 7mm today so far.

After being in a couple of air conditioned shops today, the contrast when coming back out on to the street was startling in terms of heat and humidity. A couple of bands of rain today with some distant thunder. 3.8mm the total. Max temp today 24.1, but at 70% humidity it was all fairly uncomfortable.

The heat continued to build through the afternoon - our max was 27.5C at 18.20 this evening. Still hovering around 25C now, and the breeze has almost entirely gone. Feeling very warm!

Noticeable warmer today at 24.8 max, and the temperature is holding up well at the end of the afternoon compared to to last few days.

A decent spell of rain for us on the coast this afternoon. Dry now, but 10mm the total for today. After recent weeks, we'll take that.

Well after a few days respite, that wind is back in the NE again - like it's been pretty much for the last four weeks.

Very much a localised temperature as our garden is a bit of a hot spot, but it's a Davis Vantage Pro WS, so I'm happy with the accuracy...
