    Very mild night 11.4°C was the low temperature with was at midnight, the mildest night of 2016 in West Drayton. Warmest night since 27/12/15 when it was 13.4°C minimum. Right now it's 12.2°C, pressure 1008 climing slightly and winds from SW.

    I wonder how much all those cold NW winds out of Canada will be effecting the colder water in the north Atlantic it was a constant theme in December, again now. Interesting to see if it stays cold thought this spring into next winter also?

    It's interesting the angle of the ecliptic means that the sunrise time continues to get lighter later even after the winter solstice and the earliest sunset time is actually just before the solstice sometime around Dec 15th. Certainly seems to take mornings a long time to get lighter.

    Today's maximum was 13.3°C which was 1.6°C cooler than yesterday. The first decrease in tmax in 6 days. Interestingly that was a continual increase from the coldest day of winter so far. -3.8 up to 14.9°C.

    Right now it's still dropping the temperature it's 9.8°C, pressure falling quickly from 1025 to 1019mb overnight. Winds from the south.

    Today quite amazing the warmest day of 2016 not just a bit by a massive amount. 11.2°C was the warmest so far before today. Now in West Drayton it's 14.6°C.
