BBC just trashed any chance for my area

I'm in Maidstone I will miss out on it all. Rain predicted for me. Not unusual as every year I face the same problem the warm air gets mixed into the front/low and my snow turns into rain. Enjoy all those who get snow. At least I will be able to get into work on Monday lol

We are still at 8 deg but have some cloud still

I am not holding out any hope of the white stuff in my neck of the woods but it will be nice to see the sun

I see nothing in the way of snow potential in my area. Poss a little on sunday. It' at times like this I wish I lived in the north. Been in the mod thread and find a lot of in by bias wrt snow possibilities. I hope I am wrong though.

Well said Kent. I agree totally.

Lots of in my back yard posts is why the predictions are so different. I try not to go in there lol. You just have to learn to recognse the more experienced posters who give their view on the models as a whole.

Oh I know all about a good old easterly believe me. I was living in my first house with no central heating in 1987. The curtains froze to the windows inside it was so cold. I had to use a broom from my upstairs windows to knock the icicles off my gutters as my front door opened straight onto the pavement. My earlier comment was about the fact these last few years we have missed out on good snow events here as the warm air gets mixed into the lows before the get to us giving us rain instead of snow. Even when it has started out as snow we soon get the familiar drip drip drip as it never seems to stay cold enough to keep snow on the ground for long these days.

Ba humbug. No snow only rain. Living in mid Kent is great in summer for heat but sucks in winter for cold.

In Ashford shopping it's cold here and wet no snow on ground light spots if rain coming down. Radar says I am in mild sector of the system and can confirm radar is correct
