Looks like another storm is missing me.

what a surprise that Bedford missed out AGAIN.

Hubs tells me it poured last night. I don't know. Double archers and lemonade knocked me out. FOR SHAME

Yes it was a great storm which back built. The one in the morning was very different. I'm obsessed with storm clouds and noticed that it looked quite stormy and the sky the 'right colour' for thunder, so i got dressed at 6:30am and went out with my phone to film it. So i was standing there looking and nothing, no lightning, no thunder, feel a bit of rain so headed back in. About 5 mins later i headed up stairs and thought i saw a flash and 'boom' then another flash. Dammed storm had been trolling me.Then there was the loud bang and then it went away like it had arrived.

yep we did have a few and I was out in the morning storm at 6:30 (lol) and on the same day we missed a storm by miles but could hear the thunder Would of had one yesterday but they all broke up before they got here, all for a really heavy shower,

So jelly of your holiday, looked amazing. bedford totally missed out while you were away, so I doubt we will get anything

The Birds are certainly grouping up and about to embark on their journeys if my village's facebook is anything to go by. I am a great lover of the September - December period. Maybe comes from being an Autumn baby. Looking forward to the cooler nights and cosy evenings, not so much wind storms. Strange coming from someone who lived basically on the seafront down south, but I'd rather see a good thunderstorm.

Just had a really heavy shower. Seems the curse of the stuffs keeps on giving -buy warm stuffs and it's not going to be a cold winter. stuffit.

Have been spoilt with thunder this week - Weds morning, Thursday evening- Friday morning. Had my total summers' worth of storms in a few days. Now the storms have gone it much fresher, have donned a swimsuit with bubs and we have been playing in the paddling pool. now it's cloudy and surprisingly much warmer indoors. The bedroom has been stuck at 30c but at last the fan is blowing cooler air now. Have been eyeing up some lovely coats for autumn.

Extremely warm and humid out now, although it was lovely taking in the passing storm and hearing the thunder, being a cloud junkie sometimes not been right under it is best.

Storm just missing me, but could hear the thunder from it.

Hi:) Headache seems to have gone for now. The room is still in the 30's. But yep feel much better ty, even more so after my early morning stormy walk!

saw some lightning in the distance before I managed to get a couple hours kip. Hubby told me he heard thunder on/off over night but I didn't. Headed out for a early walk at 6:30. Lovely and cool and no one around. Lovely bluey/grey thunderly looking clouds but no thunder. As soon as hit my area turned into a small thunderstorm, had around 5/6 strikes and some rain. very refreshing. Kind of makes up for my bad night.

hey! Hope you feel better today. I just went out for a walk in the rain and it was lovely.:) I am feeling much better, but last night was a challenge.

Just been outside - heaven. What is annoying is the lovely clouds I am looking at aren't electrified but probably were at some point. Just the colour which is blue/grey. Next door neighbor going to work must think i'm crazy. 20c outside. OH MY. My cloud is producing! 3 claps so far.

At 5:45am hubs and I decided the heat had finally beaten us and got up. Our room hadn't got past 32c all night and it was raining a bit *heads into garden* Had bit of bobs of rain/thunder but even after enough water to fill a small pool I had the worst headache and slept through it. I am feeling quite ill atm.

Am watching a Seafront Web cam from Eastbourne Really changed over the years Hoping to catch the storm before it dies. ah the Brighton one looks better.

Shade in garden reporting 39.3c. So i'm not going out. Cloud gone now. Breeze back.
