  1. Alexa told me it would be cloudy with showers. MO - cloudy NW-cloudy. Bubs just about to go on a field trip to the woods. -Alexa wins.
  2. The only exciting thing is i got to wear my new coat this morning. Slightly below cool out, broken cloud and some wind. Bah bah bah. I hate the school run.
  3. Me yesterday ' I need to get Christmas out the way' Me today ' Why did we put up so much stuff? Can't it stay all year?' I cannot move for bags and boxes. The weather? who cares at this point.
  4. yawn. Really. Hubs has a new car so we were testing out the radio. The man next door decided he wanted a listen too but made out he was starting his car which hasn't worked for about 3 weeks.
  5. I see it has been raining, and a bit blowy too as a pizza box of ours had found it's way down the path and a rather snotty neighbour curtly told us she had put it back in our bin. Lovely dear thank you.
  6. January is a strange month. Followed by February, March, April, May. The weather is rather boring too.
  7. Just cloud today. Don't know if Alexa was right or wrong, throat was too sore to ask.
  8. So here we are. Mild and wet or cold and dry. The meh of winter weather. I can remember my dear old dad saying that to me growing up, having winter after winter with next to nothing snow. maybe if it reaches 40c this year it will actually thunder in my village this time round. Alexa was wrong this morning. It's been cloudy since I got up.
  9. very grateful of a present of new dressing grown and Pj's considering bubs and I have fluey flu type of coldy fluey flu. (yes that virus i has comes back and kicks ya butt) Looked a 'lovely' day when I popped out for some air. Hope you all had a nice one.
  10. raining. In other news, Hubs has brought me a navy blue fluffy coat and 6 bottles of Becks. Ah takes me back.
  11. Not seeing Xmas theme on selecting 'theme'
  12. The M23 is closed due to flooding from a river bursting its banks. 5 mile queues, nasty for people needing to get to gatwick.
  13. Our neighbour is just a pain. Bangs her door so it makes our windows shake. Parks her car were ever she feels like. Won't answer her door when the father of her child comes round so he just knocks and knocks at 7am on a Sunday. Lucky you for thunder, not had any for a while now
  14. I am in a Flood risk too, but it's more for beddie, the river is a fair distance from me and will get the field first. 1. Next door and her new BF came home again at 3am this morning and woke us up banging her door and thinking its funny. 2. I am awaiting, finally, last lot of presents. 3. It is blimin' raining again 4. I'm ill. 5. House across from us is having it's en-suite re-done and for the past 3 days, quite lonely, has been a toilet on the path. It's christmas, I may go and give it a hug.
  15. I didn't want a wet mild Christmas period. All that snow potential wasted. Now I expect the rest of the winter will be dry and cold and I won't see a flurry.
  16. Feeling a bit under the weather as they say, and I never heard any rain/thunder/hail / weather here last night. The only thing I noticed when I was busy in the garden putting up lights is the fact it is much milder today and the fact Bubs paddling pool which was strangely left outside was completely full of water, almost overflowing. That is alot of water thats fallen. Just imagine if that had all been snow.
  17. I was under some green, at a pinch maybe the rain hitting the window could of been icy, but it wasn't sleeting.
  18. Some of the roofs had snow frost on them this morning, but it was raining. Felt like it had been snowing, but had turned to rain and I missed it. The council bless them, have decided to cut down/ mow down/destroy all the trees/brushes/anything green and the 'older' side of my village looks like a heap of white sticks. The only bonus is I can now see the village Christmas tree better.
