  1. it actually ended up back building so it got to me that way but it didnt move west. windows washed and praying plants are going to be okay.
  2. It's only three miles from me a little more west and my windows will be washed.
  3. Is it damp or ants that makes it show rain over london? its exploded in the last 30 minutes.
  4. very humid my bedroom was at 77% until I opened a few more windows for it to only only increase which defeated the objective.
  5. looking at met office 2am Saturday looks eventful in the SE of England through to 4am then again 12 hours later in the afternoon some localized torrential rain.
  6. South east is getting frekkles lots of random strikes on the map now.
  7. some pictures and video on twitter show flooding but thats one user who is to say those are real for today so I won't post those.
  8. Seems to not be moving and it isn't back building so west of london wont see the action from that cell over east london.
  9. met office showed rain for 1pm not even a drop is close to west london it is further south east than forecasting showed.
  10. Nice and chilly fresh no humid air left in this part of London almost chilly went out in my shorts to uncover the plants now the worst of the rain has moved on. Wednesday storm barely put a dent into filling the pond back up but last nights rain has done the trick.
  11. it was not just television but any video forecast put on YouTube too from the met office and others too. The met office said it would be 25-28 again today which is a joke I'm seeing maybe 22 at most anywhere.
  12. Even in West London it was expected all forecasts and warnings pointed to it and all we had was heavy rain. No hail, no gusty winds and no lightning. Even then we in the west of London were on the very edge of the heaviest of the rain last night. The met office still has warnings for today through to Saturday but unless something changes for tomorrow morning with the next band of heavy rain I just don't see it happening especially now it's cooled down and will continue to cool down tomorrow is being forecast as a feels like of 13*c while only yesturday we had 28*c I don't see where the justification of the widespread warning even comes from let alone came from for last night.
  13. I hope I don't see the storms until the origonal forecast of 11pm nothing earlier.
  14. All too often what starts in France does not arrive or reflect what the south of England will see.
  15. Awning rolled away, new plants covered, camera batteries changed... anything else I need to do in the west of London for tomorrow?
  16. Same in West London too seeing Thursday early evening through the night. I'd love to see a mothership cloud even just do a drive by of the south easy skies to tease us would be a sight.
  17. nothing forecast for other days this week. i can see this being a kent klipper tonight perhaps find some coastal web cams from eastbourne might be good.
