18th-24th, in my following of just the GFS has verified more for all the outdoor events I've used it for this year all the way from April its been correct with its 6am runs the other runs for some reason I've found to be very off what actually occured. -

6am GFS doesn't show any signs of anything extreme unless I dont know how to read this update. 08.09.2023_13.20.00_REC SCREENREC.COM Recorded with ScreenRec -

Are these long range forecasts of any value? I need good weather later this month and all I now see is stormy conditions less than ideal for being on the water down south coast. -

Whos said its the strongest on record? I watch Fox Weather and no such mention of a record breaker. Potential yes but even then no mention of a record. -

Why is it the BBC computer forecasts change more often as we get closer to next Saturday? for a few days every update showed wall to wall sunshine from Wednesday, now it's chaged to showing some forecast updates with rain on just Saturday. -

No storms club member for next weekend, Eastbourne Airshow needs no storms. Blue skies would be a rare treat for the event usualy its cloudy, clear skies would be a first in a very long time. Bournemouth though if that cool plays out if it includes rain as well it will probably see what the council wants which is an end to the show. All the computerised forecasting online points to wall to wall sunshine Wednesday onwards for almost a week. -

I think the further south you are after next Thursday the less of a write off the summer will be. Metcheck, accuweather long range point to a lasting improvement once it sets in. -

Just a total washout, heavy rain no lightning on the maps. Metoffice has removed that from the forecasting at least for London and only now shows hail at 3pm. -

London has had a good few storms in June I've seen some of my best cloud to cloud lightning storm though it was brief and we've had two-three days of storms very close together. I don't know what you call a good storm but we had a lot of thunder, lightning and some hail that impacted the glasses to the point where it sounded like it cracked. -

So much for those forecasts with 40% in the south east and 60% just north of london well everything above london had a very high chance no chance in the south. french development jumped over us all and gave others a show instead. -

Well if snow does come Star Wars Celebration with people coming from around the world will be nightmare for traveling for all sorts of reasons with travel impacts that will cause the event to be a write off. I want Fridays 6z and 18z runs to make a return those had 21c and only a lowering of temperature on Sunday but still mild. -

Am I missing something but the GFS only on Friday was showing 21c at both 6z and 18z runs but not the 0z and 12z and some Saturday runs still showed this however the latest runs are heading to a colder and snowy period instead. Two weeks away plenty to play for.
