  1. You get a lot of storms before breakfast or late at night after dark and some around mid afternoon. The storms around london if I remember correctly a few weeks ago were around lunch time.
  2. Where at 2pm it showed on the met office the heaviest rain and storms for several runs at 2pm now it shows more westerly forecast. It was fun while it lasted, last night and a few updates this morning all pointed to a london soaking for 2pm.
  3. Anyone got images from Hammersmith the ammount of rain and lightning I am sure will be seeen somewhere online? 3:35pm 3:55pm look really like it strengthened then weakened in a 20 minute blast.
  4. Looks like Harrow and Wembley got the brunt of the west london show just this hour. Had one rumble that was it.
  5. Nice hail core over west London at the start of the hour about five minutes of hail and one minute of floor covering pea sized hail still not fully melted.
  6. It's too dry. Where are April showers, where is the Spring rain. Lawns drying out, ponds evaporating to the level I need to assist it which otherwise would not happen until summer and the sun index is 6 which in my experience is unhead of for April late alone May.
  7. Snowing in West London, netweather radar isn't seeing it only detects sleet or rain this morning.
  8. Two hail showers here today the second had large pea sized hail.
  9. Quicker we get back to warner feels like the better i want bitter free days ahead.
  10. snow started to settle for a few minutes then stopped quickly it looked like pen nip size pellets on the table until it stopped settling again.
  11. Some of the comments and replies to that tweet by the met are just so stupid. It looks like feels -6 sunday through to tuesday and a big snow event sunday and a small ammount monday I take it wont melt until Thursday. then more snow coming in thursday afternoon.
  12. Looking at met office and bbc vs metcheck it's like two different planets. Met office and bbc showing dry in the south and metcheck showing 1.1cm snow.
  13. nice? I see that as a nice outcome if nothing major for the south. As long as models a week out are reliable.
  14. As long as it's clean of snow down south on the between 5th and 9th, these models are looking favourable for my needs. I do wonder if anyone has collected data with the models when one week, two weeks and so on ahead how accurate they get them during different seasons.
  15. Metcheck has snow down for next weekend in London but the BBC has it as dry I know what I'd rather have it down as but is there a reason the two forecasts are different from the models I assume it's automatic and two different models being used don't agree on the location of the high along with the cold air too. Metcheck shows -5c bbc shows +6c.
  16. What is the current possition of the impact of the recent sudden stratospheric warming?
  17. Covid isn't of concern people will be in doors at home not mixing as for broken bones people who are not driving will be getting deliveries and should stock up on the right footwear or grips to be prepaired. We've got those things with shoe spikes to grip the ice and snow its the delivery drivers I am concerned for. can not grit the path because if they slip the resident would be held liable for damages.
  18. Is it safe to say those who depend on online deliveries should avoid getting deliveries of said food around the mid second week of January and get any supplies needed for two weeks at the start of the second week of January instead?
  19. garden tubs all knocked over these gusts today are intense usualy I get one or two over but these are all over the place today.
  20. On Sat24 heading east is it me but before the squal line the clouds are thinning out?
