    Very well I reckon. Toyota Aygo with bugger all wheel width. I'd take that over a Freelander any day of the week. Defender certainly a good bet. But remember, once you slide you have a lot of weight to stop!

    2 of the reservoirs in the Brecon Beacons are frozen over. I'm guessing the lack of frost is due to the lack of moisture and the gentle winds?

    Bright sunshine, blue skies in S Wales. Brecon has three partially frozen reservoirs and lots of ice waterfalls. Really pretty and something I've not seen in 10 years or so. So long may the "grey dirge" continue.

    Thunder in Cardiff now, well spaced but the reverb is around 15 seconds! Stromchasing back to Pencoed now.

    Lots of hail like snow in S Wales a few minutes ago. Sleeting now. Very marked temperature drop mind.

    11C in Cardiff with a really odd (cloud coverered) purple sunrise. Currently overcast and breezy, no real wind strength as yet.
