    Could I be so bold as to ask about Sunday in Wales. Lots of the sites show as v light precip. Doing a 117 mile bike ride. Previous experience of such forecasts leads me to believe a passing shower may appear but that it will remain dry. Thoughts?

    Pencoed is barely 75 ASL and around 5 miles from the coast. We have no slushy roads here. Even the M4 has snow on it.

    Winds were forecast to be SE. My observation is they're much more easterly and this is much more a case of cold winning out.

    Is it wrong to trawl through and point out just how many people were wrong. And in particular BBC Radio Wales this morning. M4 Pencoed. Now lane less.

    What was that event two years ago? Feb 08 was it? March? Can't recall but snow wasn't expected then kicked off big time in the morning. I wonder if we could see a repeat?

    The radar looks intense in my view. So what I don't follow is why they now say there's not much moisture and that precipitation amounts will be lower?

    Interesting. So what has changed? Have the air/upper temps been changed? Is the incoming air milder? What has brought this about?
