    Quite often find that a 'boring' HP sits over us but then turns us colder and colder , be more than happy with that . PV hopefully looks disjointed as we speak so not enough of a threat...................yet

    The GFS 3D model is very impressive , just been looking at the jet stream and where it wanders.

    If we are being totally honest snow was never on the cards ......short term, it is all about building blocks .

    GFS Certainly sticks 2 fingers up at the sceptics on here and on TWO, certainly a great pattern emerging which creates plenty of debate . Going to be interesting to see how this winter pans out. It certainly has given us more to chat about already , last years effort was awful. Be interesting to see what the OBI forecast gives us tomorrow.

    Spot on, a bit too early for me IMO and wasted synoptics , I feel. Valid , it is a decent run and after last years woeful set of charts one can only be pleased with the runs that we have seen over the last day or so

    It is quite pleasing to see this set up, even if it doesn't materialise into much ( wasted if it did ) hopefully we will see a repeating pattern as we go through December and January. All in all a much better start to this winter than last years
