  1. And that isn't certain , bit of an odd post considering we are only 3 weeks into Winter
  2. Job to know if that is a tongue in cheek comment ??? It doesn't look nice and mild to me
  3. London Heathrow= no Belfast=no Cork=no Aberdeen=yes Edinburgh=yes Liverpool=no Manchester=no Cardiff=no Norwich=yes Newcastle=yes
  4. I see, apologies , some might not see that as you posted relevant charts Sorry SE
  5. I doubt the whiteout conditions to be honest , might be sleety at best for MBY
  6. http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/ecmwf/runs/2014122112/ECH1-168.GIF?21-0 ECM sits in just to the NW , amazing the difference in outputs at this range
  7. I don't , people on here are quite sensible , not sure I see the snow locations that some do but certainly haven't seen what you are suggesting
  8. http://modeles.meteociel.fr/modeles/gfs/runs/2014122112/gfsnh-0-138.png?12 GFS 12z has the LP much further North compared to this mornings run
  9. Go have a look at Gavs vids on TWO, the 1981 winter one was a dream for both cold and snow OT apologies
  10. I'd be very happy with that run, not a snowfest by any stretch but some low temps and very seasonal Oh I agree, some harsh extreme weather, for me 48 hours of 40 mph winds and heavy snow still wouldn't be enough
  11. http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/Rtavn2641.gif At last something decent to the East , options a plenty at this point.
  12. If I remember rightly GFSP was hinting at an Easterly last week, funny if that is how we end up
  13. Of course as most Easterlies battle against the odds, slim chance is there at least
  14. http://modeles.meteociel.fr/modeles/gfs/runs/2014122106/gfsnh-0-186.png?6 Wouldn't take much to dig an Easterly from this
  15. Im not saying any are , that is a foolish game. I still remember the Easterly a few years back that ECM was selling us, only to take it away at 72 hours.
  16. http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/ecmwf/runs/2014122012/ECH1-240.GIF?20-0 I wonder if this will be on the mild side in the ENS
  17. It has a bit it is more in line with UKMO this evening than it was this morning IMO
  18. I asked a question early but because that many posts were being added the flip over of pages was so quick it got missed. That is what happens when cold weather is a possibility
