    Good afternoon folks. John, just wanted to thank you for your continued great analysis that you post overnight. It's the first thing I look forward to in the morning. Tom, so pleased the move went smoothly and it sounds like the extra room is a godsend for you all. I'm so pleased you have what you need. Can't wait for the warm up that is predicted in the not too distant future. Sun trying to break through the high cloud here with temp of 13.5c. Not bad at all.

    Still quite warm here at 5.7c. Reached a high of 10.1c which was lovely. Spent most of the day out in Cambridgeshire with the dog.

    Morning all! Guess what? It's cold and grey and cloudy here too. Temp currently 1.6c with a frost. Look East predicting snow flurries for our region this afternoon. I'm still going to hang my washing out though. I will not be defeated by the weather! Boo sucks to it all.

    Good afternoon weather-nuts. We are cloudy and chilly and grey and damp here. It's been like this since for ever, or so it seems. I noticed on my dog walk today that the fields are drying out, I don't sink so deep into the mud and the puddles are fewer and farer between. Gotta be a sign that things are going to turn wet and mild any time soon. I don't want any-more of that wet white stuff so if it chooses to stay south of the Thames that's all hunky-dory by me.

    Morning all. Just back from dog walk. It was snowing earlier when I got up but has stopped now. Varying degrees of depth, patio is more or less dry, roads are slush and yet some places we have a good 2-3cms of crisp snow to footprint through. Not sure if more is to come, and not worried. Can't control the weather, just have to make the best of what you've got, whatever the weather.

    Morning all. A chilly 2.8c here this morning with dp -0.5c. A cold breeze and lots of snow on the wind that isn't settling. I would also like to join the lamppost out brigade. Ours usually turns off around midnight but when I looked out at 10pm last night it was off. I sense a conspiracy.
