Such commoners. I think it all looks rather spiffing. Mind I must let Spotty and Ginger know. They were planning Pimms and sarnies (crusts off) on the lawn.- 746 replies

Happy Birthday AbruzziS. I'm not sure if you've had it or are going to have it soon, but I remember you saying it was coming. Hope it's a good 'un. -

I am about to do the same thing and park at the top of the multi-storey because I can't bear it when someone parks next to me, if there are loads of spaces around. Less chance of that on the top floor. We've just had a big crack of thunder, so something is rumbling around.- 652 replies

We had a storm nearby just before 5am. It woke me up and judging on the timing between flashes and claps it was about 10 miles away. Lovely jubbly. Not sure if anything was around earlier. If it was i didn't hear it.- 652 replies

Reached a high today of 32.6c. Currently 23.1c. Humidity risen to 60%. Can't see anything in the sky resembling storm clouds. Mind you it's dark, so can't see anything in the sky at all.- 652 replies

Lol CharltonKerry, my hubby also burnt my bra when he tried to iron it. He is banned also. I am sure it is a ruse you men try on. Today has been just perfect. If only every day could be like today. The first very pleasant dog walk across the fields, with the evening breeze and the sun slowly sinking behind the clouds.- 467 replies

Morning all! Already 24.7c here and sky is clear. I am loving this weather, but then I am not working at the moment so I can relax and enjoy it. I do feel for those that have to work in it. Also looking forward to the breakdown next week, if it's thundery. I hope it goes out with a bang.- 467 replies

Sorry about the off topic posts. Hubby has wiggled a valve in the airing cupboard and it's gone off. So you were all right, thank you for trying to help, I just didn't know what to wiggle. So as you were. I hope the I get a huge crack or even a little rumble. I'm too hot at the moment.- 467 replies

I have thermostat valves on all my radiators except this one. All the valves on the other radiators are a zero. My thermostat on the wall is at zero and I have a timer thingy in the airing cupboard, that controls the hot water and the heating. The heating is set to off.- 467 replies

Okay someone is having a laugh. My radiator has just come on in the hallway. I can't understand it. My heating is turned off at the timer, my thermastat is at zero and yet my flippin' radiator clearly thinks it isn't quite warm enough. Can't wait for for hubby to get home from work.- 467 replies

We hit 30c here outside Asda's at 4:45pm. Luckily it has only reached 29.5c at my house, therefore I cannot return to Asda today because it is too hot.- 616 replies

Afternoon everyone. Roasting like a chestnut here, but I'm loving it. We have a bird which has set up home in a tree at the bottom of our garden, and my God! it's a noisy bugger. It doesn't stop cheeping from morning until night. It needs to spend an afternoon in the Captain's garden, where it will be on stalk alert, and will have to shut up or be eaten up. -
