    Beautiful afternoon here in St Evenage. Sun shining, blue sky, 17c. Daughter has baked cakes at school, hubby has made me a cup of tea. Who could ask for anything more. Hey Jan! Welcome back. We were on the verge of sending out a search party. I am sorry to hear you have a rough start to Autumn and hope things pick up for you. Enjoy the sunshine and I hope it sorts your toms out.

    Morning all! I love Autumn it's my favourite season. The colour changes, the fog and mist, the warmth still in the air and hint of the chill to come. Yummy! We got down to 7.2c here at 7am. Currently 10.6c Have a great day all.

    Afternoon all! I've also been blackberry picking with my daughter. Mind you she ate more than she picked. Sun has been in and out all day and we've had the odd shower but not amounting to much. Now having a cuppa and a bacon roll before doing some gardening.

    I noticed some trees losing their leaves down the dual carriageway on my way home from holiday on Friday. Morning all! Very grey and overcast here this morning. Temp of 17c. Looking forward to it brightening up later. Have a good day all.

    I've suggested (well told) Mr Chilly that we should go shopping today, due to it not really being beach weather. For some strange reason, he's still in bed. Hummph!

    Had a lovely day on the beach enjoyed the clear blue sky. Had some fluffy dumpling clouds which I swear were expanding gradually as I lay there watching them. Now having a rest from all that sunbathing before going out again this evening.

    My whole body was soaked, kinda from the inside though. Glorious blue skies here today, can't wait to get out in it.

    Morning all! I've stubbed my toe and it's black and blue. I can barely walk. So all I shall manage today is a trip to the beach, soaking up the sunshine and then a trip home. It's such a tough life. It didn't hurt last night, but I guess being soaked in booze took away the pain.

    It's coming down heavier! Ooh and a rumble of thunder. Which is a shame as we've had a good few weekends and those at the Knebworth festival have to put up with this. It's a shame really.
