P1050243.JPGI drove along but turned around about half a mile from Jaggers, road was very icy, just went up for a quick look.
mind you in 2013 the road was impassable, drifts from wall to wall 4 to 8 feet deep.
Amazing views! Was really worried we would get stuck but other half was driving so I just closed my eyes at the scary bits. Luckily we were in his 4WD and not my mini lol

Glad you enjoyed snow, some more incoming on radar at moment, temps -1.0, dp -3.0, so if the ppn makes it here should a good shower.
Hope so...now we are here safe (went up past the golf course and then cut across just past Jaggers Lane) with food in the fridge and heating on there can never be too much snow

Got to get up Sydnope Hill tomorrow. Could be interesting...

Think I will be needing regular weather updates from you in the next couple of weeks as I am coming to Darley Dale over the holidays. Hoping to get there and THEN get snowed in

Just looked at tomorrow's weather warning image on the met office for West Midlands and it looks like a sandwich! If only I was in the top slice of bread and not the filling!!!!

Maybe not just PM seeing SNOW this evening, don't be suprised if you see some early tomorrow morning in the West Midlands.
A band of showers will come through during the night with a wintry aspect to them, it will be mainly to the hills but also down to lower levels in places
Also crossing fingers and toes here in Solihull for a snow event soon
