Really looking forward to this.
Will be travelling from Tilbury on Saturday morning. (don't ask!)
If anyone is in need of a lift for any reason then let me know and i may be able to sort something.

Some great footage on this thread tonight. Had an interesting evening inadvertantly closing on some cells as they passed over King's Lynn. I saw some textbook anvils, and some lovely updrafts. Just wish I had my camera with me.

Bring a tent! The more the merrier. :o

I can only echo what everyone else has said really. I had a fantastic time chasing with the tour one guys. Everyone seemed to get on really well and even the down days were good fun. Cheers Paul, Tom, John, Arron, Harry, Michael, Andy and James. I had a great holiday with you lot!
Although we didn't get any day tornadoes we had a couple of awesome night chases. They really get the adrenaline flowing!
I must give special mention to Paul. His enthusiasm is infectious. I hope I still get as excited as he does when I have been on that many tours!
I look forward to seeing you all again. I'm sure there will be plenty of stories to be told. If anyone is hesitating about booking up for next year, let me assure you it will be a great trip. Do it!

"This one's for James"
I love how excited you get every time you see a tornado!
-
I loved Amarillo! Tom, you were a huge part of why I enjoyed the trip as much as I did. We had a great laugh. I am missing all of the gang. Just counting down the days to the next time i'm out there.
-
It looks promising, but I mustn't get my hopes up. Sixteen days without a storm now. I'm chomping at the bit!
-
Incredible! Does it get any better? Sounds like you just about had the perfect day. I feel sorry for the guys who were on their way home. I know how it feels. You'll just have to go back again next year!
-
Not a bad last chase for you guys on tour 2! I can only echo what Andy says. Super footage and I really wish I was still out there.
-
Super footage. It looks like you had a fantastic day. I'm very jealous!
-
Looks like another good day. Just watching it on the stream makes me desperate to get out there again. Once you see a supercell you just want to see another one! Hopefully you will get some good CG's from this one if it doesn't drop anything, assuming it hasn't already of course. Hopefully you will all get some more cracking footage for us to look at.
-
A huge collective sigh of relief from across the pond. Delighted that you are all okay. I think an early call off is a sensible decision.
-
Its gonna be a late night watching this one, but I wouldn't miss it for the world! 7000 is insane. Good luck tonight and don't go down too many dirt roads!
-
Good to see you got home okay. After a good night's sleep I will see how well my photos come out tomorrow. The volcano was the ONLY good thing about that plane journey!
-
It seems strange watching you guys after being there yesterday. Hopefully you will get some good action on Monday. Its good to get one in the bag early on.
Good luck everyone and stay safe!

A slow and relaxing first chase day. When we were having lunch! After that it was manic. 3 supercells, a shelf cloud and some of the heaviest rain I have ever seen. If anyone is in any doubt about coming on a tour, you must do it. Just incredible.

Well I can finally relax as they let me in the country! After meeting with Andy and Harry at Heathrow everything pretty much went to plan. Took so long to get through customs that Arron caught us up in Dallas, and Michael beat us! Had a good nights sleep and raring to go.
-
Nearly ready! I will be packing very shortly. I look forward to seeing you all. I aim to get to Heathrow in plenty of time tomorrow. I will probably bump in to Andy P at some point, and I will let you know when I get there Harry. Less than 18 hours to go!
-
Nah, think Mikel Nimbus might be on your flight.
So far I've found nobody on mine
I'm also on the BA flight Harry. I think that makes three of us.
-
And relax.......
Now the planes are flying again I can start getting properly excited! The models looks promising and this time next week I will have touched down!
Just a few odds and ends to get. I look forward to seeing you all in a weeks time.

It was great to get to meet you all finally! A big well done to Ian for his organisation. Getting 14 people to the right hotel and then guiding them round Manchester can't have been easy. As Andy P said its good to put faces to the names you see on here. I am certainly a lot less nervous about arriving in Dallas now. For those of you not on Tour 1 I hope you see plenty of activity. And for those who are I will see you in 56(?)days!

I am pretty keen to get to know you all before April comes around! I am yet to book a hotel, so any you find for a reasonable price would be fantastic.
