I assume that bacterial life could potentially survive deep in the ground of Venus. Such point might be possible. I don`t think that Venus - pressure and temperature are still theoretical. It`s easy to explain. The atmosphere of Venus is the layer of gases surrounding Venus. It is composed primarily of carbon dioxide and is much denser and hotter than that of Earth. The temperature at the surface is 740 K (467 °C, 872 °F), and the pressure is 93 bar (1,350 psi), roughly the pressure found 900 m (3,000 ft) underwater on Earth.

Possibility of life in clouds, and at layers in atmosphere. Quite a few articles out there. All yet to be proven or disproven.

Astronomers have detected a chemical in Venus’ atmosphere that signifies life on Earth. Could it mean the same on Venus?

needs to be further south, trend is to move jet north meaning rain for all

Yes lol. My expectations are not great but the trend is in the right direction, half the fun is the chase down of possible snow fall but yes, not thinking nailed on etc...

  3. Clear sky and suns out.

Looking like things go a touch milder into next week but some interest end of next week, current trend at +150 gfs shows cold and outside chance of snow again for Midlands (or just rain or nothing )

Then repeat for the rest of the month if GFS is to be believed  To be honest anything past the end of next week is not going to be reliable, lots of swings and uncertainty.

I don`t think that the theory about the life on Venus is possible. This planet has extremely high pressure and more important high temperature that makes possibility of life on this planet impossible.

Basic bacterial life could potentially survive harsher environments such as Venus - pressure and temperature. Still theoretical!

Is that band of precip to the West moving earlier than modelled? If so not sure about any forecast for tomorrow now. Any thoughts?

edit- maybe not. Will bring rain no doubt!

For a change, I guessed about right. The front was not likely to give anything other than rain IMBY and it did. Some Snow reported out in East Anglia but also reports of rain too. Marginal is a dirty word.

not for hinckley though barometer cat!  hahah

True, really nice straight line down past Earl Shilton down, missing Cov too.  Leicester is in.

You never know, might see something wintry fall but really not holding out on this one. Looking at EURO4 etc has precip over us tomorrow but we have been here before!

  7. Just been out with the Dog and it started to Drizzle.. Slight rant, yesterday METO app forecast 9 odd hours of snow for today.   Models suggested PPN might not be far enough East etc.. Last night, bit of light snow.  This morning, frost melting and drizzle. No sign of that band of PPN to the North getting anywhere near. Rant over, feel better now. Coffee, toast and back to work!
