We have movement, signs of the strat shaking things up (not happening according to some).
Let's find out.
On another note, found an interesting pic yesterday...
Liverpool City Centre, Lime Street area, I suspect it's the 1800's. I love the way the snow is piled up near the curb, something I've never seen in the modern day in our city!

And the Met have been right to some extent as I'm sure some of us had snow in Jan???
As for the other, I think I'd rather see what transpires than give up. While there's still a reasonable chance I'm still in.

Nothing too much to add at the mo apart from, the models are pretty underwhelming. Let's hope the SSW that's forecast to hit around the 18-19th Feb mixes things up a bit and we land one last cold shot, potentially the best of the lot IF things fall right.
I don't buy into the March is too late nonsense, we've had some cracking snowfalls here during that month, they only last a day or two but over the last 20 years most snowfalls are gone within 48 hours anyway.
I really wouldn't rule out a BTFE type cold spell early March.
The latest Met offerings also suggest something colder from a general easterly direction, obviously factoring in the SSW.
26th Feb - 11th Mar
During late February and early March, there is a higher than normal likelihood of northerly or easterly winds dominating, which would increase the chance of colder and drier than average conditions. Spells of milder and wetter weather are still likely to occur at times, especially in the south and southwest, with the potential for snow on the boundary between milder and colder air.

Wasn't going to log in this morning until I read this, I know we've had a little chat before but I would just just like to wish you all the best for when you start your treatment.
Hope you have a great weekend with your family Rush, great weather for getting out and about.

Just not quite the right side, keeps alternating between a little burst of fat flakes then back to horrible sleety rain. It's a bust, next!

The Welsh hills are eating up the heavier precip, coming in at the wrong angle for here, can't see it now.

Bang on cue!
March comes into view and so does the return of Winter, a few more frames would look pretty cold.
Will Spring be on hold, or will the above be the usual nonsense?
