    Same here MAF, river was already bursting its banks last week. PITA living at such low elevation surrounded by rivers.

    I cant for 1 minute claim to know anything about these charts but I remember the winter of 81/2 vividly. We poured water on the road at the bottom of where I lived and made a slide, it was there for about 2 weeks and 4 inches thick by the time we had finished. The excitement you are all showing with these charts and the chase is infectious

    Just ventured out of the office, was 9c when I got here at 5am , feels a lot colder than that now!

    For the untrained eye. we had a hope of cold for The Christmas week at 240 earlier in the month, how do these charts show more promise than the setup then?

    MAD thread gone into a state of depression. I'm only suprised that they are suprised when this happens every year. We are just not in the right place geographically for a cold/white Christmas.

    Horrendous drive in this morning , aquaplaning left,right and centre. Wide tyres and heavy rain never great
