First time lounge has been below 18c in a long time. 16.6c. Had to break out the portable fan heater to take the edge off.
-
Still at the dizzy heights of between 19-20c. But like kold weather mentioned earlier any inside warmth will start to dwindle with not much sun forecast over the next week or so.
-
Yesterday hung at 20.5c all day. This morning only down to 19.7c.
-
Hanging around the 18.2 mark. Likely to go up now the sun is out.
-
Coldest morning so far with the lounge temperature at 18c. Don't see it climbing much today as lack of sun.
-
With the last few days of warm sunshine the lounge has peaked around 21.5c. Dropping down to around 18.5 this morning due to a cold night.
-
Mild, very mild. 14c at 5.30am

I’ve been seeing a lot of adverts recently for this “ultraheat pro” product. It’s this mini electrical heater that you plug into your wall and claims to significantly warm up a room whithin minutes... It also claims that it’s cheaper than running CH and saves hundreds on your energy bills.. All sounds a bit too good to be true... Looks a bit scammy to me..
Wondering what others think?
Have purchased something similar from Amazon. Has two heat settings low = 1000kwh high=1500kwh. On testing you do get instant heat and the room went up by a 1.5c in around 15 minutes.

Must have been cold last night. First bit of condensation round the edges of the windows in the bedrooms.

Lounge temperature is around 19-21c at the moment. Heating tends not to go on until we have a temperature of about 16.5/17. I don't see it going on much between now and November unless we have a very different October compared to the last few years.
-
Felt the difference first thing this morning at 7am. Room temperatures have gone down some what. Pleasant with the sun out but a brisk wind today. Looks like the night time temps go back up during the week so short lived.

It took until Autumn but we finally got a thunderstorm.
Same! Although after two flashes of lightning and some distant rumbles it all went quiet. Very dissapointed.

there is a 90% chance of the winter not being a cold one
I'd be happy with that.
I'll take a punt that high winds will be around again late Sept/Early Oct. Seems to be the trend over the last couple of years.

As a family of three is a mid terraced house we have always been low uses of both gas/electric. My bill doubled in April but is still low compared to other eye watering amounts other people are paying. With the £400 being added to our accounts this will probably cover my usage for both winter 22 and 23. I have invested in a bladeless fan heater as this will cost less to run than having the central heating on. I'm more favoured for a mild winter!

Lounge: Morning 24.3c/Afternoon 27.2
Bedroom 1: Morning 22.4/Afternoon 25.4
Bedroom 2: Morning 24.6/Afternoon 27.1
These have been the range of temperatures over the last week or so.

Well we had a storm..from 3.00am until 3.15am
Was hoping for more but moved on very quickly. Lots of rain followed but almost dry at 6am.
-
BBC Weather saying Essex has a 70% chance overnight of thunderstorms. Most likely be heavy rain and that's it!
-
Finally some rain here! Didn't last long but the garden will be thankful

Living in a 2 bed mid terrace probably. Cost about 30p for 20 minutes downstairs and 20 upstairs.
Reasonably small house so works for us. But yes id agree that if you have a large house/room then may not be as effective.
