You are always moaning about model thread, not sure if you're trolling, but if you want to improve MOD, why don't you post in there and 'improve' it
Sorry have i upset you? I just find it quite comical how upset they get in that thread over something out of everyone's control!

Lots of folk in the MOD topic crying into their cornflakes this morning as little snow has arrived.

I'm sure I heard a BBC weather forecast on the radio this morning saying that temperatures should start warming up from monday
There is talk that by next weekend into the approach to Christmas it may turn slightly milder.

Re what the models are showing us at the moment, it's in danger of going from boom to bust in the space of about three hours! One minute we're looking at Day After Tomorrow stuff, then it's "warm incursions". Ha ha! Couldn't make it up! If the models can go from such huge wintry possibilities to nothing then there's really no point at all in looking that far ahead. Or, rather, not posting anything 8-10 days away. When will people learn?! Same every year...
73 pages and counting! (MOD topic)

I'm not fussed about snow (well yes I am as I like it)... I'm more concerned that the vulnerablity of people already struggling with the energy cost crisis is going to increase. And that the public should be being told about how cold it will be, particularly if its below average.
Although mild is my preferred choice if it snows it snows. Yes i agree the energy cost will have a massive impact if we have a prolonged cold spell. That lot in the MOD topic though couldn't care less as long as it's cold!

If you read through the MOD topic their outlook is 10ft of snow and temperatures at -10. Could happen

Anyone else afraid to venture into the MOD thread?
It’s certainly on another level in there! What do they talk about after the winter has passed? There seems to be a post every five minutes on what might happen in the next few days.
I’ve never in my life seen such a bunch that get so excited about possible cold weather incoming.

The current MOD topic. Wow! People losing their minds on ‘possible’ cold weather approaching. Chart after chart after chart!

"The GFS looks good, it just delays the easterly a bit"
Oh we've heard this before
Always a mention of 2010 also in the MOD topic

Well that lot in the MOD topic seem to be getting very and overly excited about a possible cold snap heading our way!

Are the mild winter enthusiasts in short supply on the forums? Feels like its just me

The gardeners were back yesterday cutting the grass. Usually the last cut is mid September.
Yep have cut mine twice in November and if the current weather trend stays will probably need one more cut before winter.
