  2. Well a cold showery day. Winds have finally eased off after a breezy few days Max temp 10.4C now 9.9C Barometer 1006mb rising Wind F2 NNE Rainfall since midnight 7.4mm

  4. A better afternoon which doesn't say much. One or two showers rare sunny spell but a cold day after a mild night. Max temp 10.9C now 9.9C Barometer 1010mb falling Wind F3 NNE Rainfall 4mm
  5. A mild start but once again dull damp with drizzle and a moderate breeze from the North Temp 9.1C Barometer 1014mb falling Wind F4 N Rainfall since midnight 1.8mm

  9. On and off switched off again now due to mild nights. If it wasn't windy I may not have turned it on at all. Temp downstairs a warm 18.8C. So shouldn't need it tonight.

  12. Probably was in the socket but not pushed home. If the upgrade to the firewall may not have been hardware related so the cable may not have been removed during the upgrade so may have been in a dodgy state for some time. Stll a red faced engineer walking around somewhere.

  19. Hold isn't that my line????? I wouldn't swap the weather in this country for anywhere else. Boring luckily doesn't last long (Dull grey rubbish anticyclonic gloom) luckily.

  22. Looks like Autumn may be actually coming. Should be pretty breezy down the east coast from Wednesday and really takes it's time to quieten down as well. As ever the detail may change but Autumn here we come. Deep FI tries to do a rerun of the famous October storm as well.
