Thanks for the nice welcome. Love the height, been here 30 years and have no plans to move. have an SSSI patch some 70m from my front door so walks on frosty mornings are superb. On a good day can see the Wrekin to the SE and Cheshire gap to the NE. Take a short walk the other side of the village and the Roaches/blackshaw moor come into view. The only bug bear is the ever increasing light pollution which really erks me as I like to star gaze from time to time. Still with these clear nights getting up early to take a peak at Venus whilst having my first brew of the day is still special.

My first post, have been watching from afar for some time now. Fine start to the day but clouding over now, hope for some more of the autumn sun that has made the colour changes look stunning. A nice frosty coating is the next item I am waiting for
