One bit of good news is that UK Power Networks are already aware of the incoming weather and are liaising with the Met-O.     Wash, rinse, repeat. some of the best concensus across main models i have ever seen. old enough to remember some great winters hope the younger generation get to see and enjoy it

    just got to work, about 1cm current temp starting to give it a nice icy crust, all main routes open but side roads very icy.

    Very icy under thin layer of snow. untreated roads and lanes are treacherous, a few fender benders for the unwary this morning

    great way to start my night shift "DAD I'M STUCK" wife "GO DIG HIM OUT ON YOUR WAY TO WORK" That apart was a lovely way to start the shift with a drive in the snow. Maniacs clogging up main routes so took the scenic way via lanes with virgin snow.
