We held on to negative digits til about 6.30. Temperature been slowly climbing overnight. Currently 0.8C,humidity 91%,pressure 1016 and steady.Light winds and dull and cloudy. At least I can warm the house up I suppose

Moorning from a very white Thames Valley. And the temp in my back garden is..... -8.3C!! Do I win a prize or something?

Even without snow cover we've done double digits. Coldest I recall was -16.5 in 2010. Positively balmy at -6.5 now. Shame there's not a little moisture. A hoar frost would be a wonderful substitute for a snowscape.

You make sure you've got spf30+ on if you're nipping outside.Don't want to take risks

Hope so. Be lovely to see all the trees with an icy coating. I quite liked tramping across frozen mud to work today!Better than risking untreated pavements
