    I find it funny that we get excited at the prospect of a storm. I suspect if we lived in central Europe we'd possibly dread a storm warning! Some serious wind and hail damage from storms throughout Europe this week !! This was taken flying north out of Barcelona 6 hours before last night's storm. No clue of what was to come.

    We're probably too far west for any sferics, but blimey you can literally feel the warm, humid air being drawn up. Skies just look greay and murky..not especially unstable, but I have a stormy headache which is usually as good as guide to storms as any forecast!!

    The sky has produced some lovely convection today and some ominous looking clouds. Producing some showers to the south of the M4 corridor

    Thanks for sharing this. Much as I love a good storm, some of the images I've seen yesterday make me feel very glad we don't get storms on that scale here. Beautiful to watch from a distance , but I'd imagine pretty scary to be there

    It's the second of the morning to develop like that. Produced a hefty thundery shower fo us about an hour ago. Round 2 incoming!

    Definite line from salisbury to the wash now

    Look at the salisbury area. Another cell developing there now. These showers are developing very rapidly and moving through quickly. The atmosphere does feel 'charged' (sorry, not very scientific). Don't know if we'll get any organisation later but I don't think we're finished yet
