Thanks for sharing this. Much as I love a good storm, some of the images I've seen yesterday make me feel very glad we don't get storms on that scale here. Beautiful to watch from a distance , but I'd imagine pretty scary to be there

thundery activity seems to have died out now

It's the second of the morning to develop like that. Produced a hefty thundery shower fo us about an hour ago. Round 2 incoming!

Definite line from salisbury to the wash now

Look at the salisbury area. Another cell developing there now. These showers are developing very rapidly and moving through quickly. The atmosphere does feel 'charged' (sorry, not very scientific). Don't know if we'll get any organisation later but I don't think we're finished yet

Directly overhead atm. Booming thunder, huge raindrops. May develop further as it crosses the Thames. Sending it your way S.Bucks

Two lovely lines of showers. One stretching from Salisbury to Luton and one from Swindon to Peterborough. Those showers have really got going in the last hour

Yep..according to xc dp = actual temp. Humidity = 100%

My humidity has rocketed from 38 to 80 in2 hours . Yuk!
