    There are some thundery-looking clouds a few miles SSE of here...I can't be sure, but they seem either to be going nowhere, or against the prevailing wind?

    Nothing at all last night, not that anything was ever expected...Anywho, today looks like it'll be a hot one; it's already a cloudless, breezy 21C!

    Mostly sunny, 20C and v. light ENE breeze...Could have done with a wee bit more rain last night.

    Sun now out and 19C...not a bad looking afternoon.

    Dry and still mostly cloudy, though have had one or two glimpses of sunshine; 17C with a very light ENE breeze so hoping for some sunshine after lunch. No chance of home-grown thunderstorms as we are too close to the coast.

    Seems like you're advertising a near-perfect BH weekend, AlderC: plenty warm enough for outdoor pursuits, some warm/hot sunshine and ample scope for some static storm chasing! Now what could possibly go wrong with that?

    NE wind is lighter today and the sunshine is unbroken. 15C, so already warmer than yesterday!

    14C (as it's been for the last 3 hours) mostly sunny, windy...can't see the BBC's 17C being anywhere near reached?

    Indeed it is, MB...And, when the clearance eventually reaches you, don't expect temps to skyrocket - it's 13C over here, too.

    Early sunshine has given way to multi-layer cloud, but temp is now up to 20C.
