  1. Yup its been edging ever closer to here  Snow exploding on radar to the west of here, very light snow here with small flakes, not suffering the thaw many other parts are though luckily.
  2. All the places which lost snow cover yesterday e.g the roads now covered again, snowing lightly but steadily
  3. Snow fest again next Friday on latest GFS  very much well into FI though, in the meantime just some light snow in places tommorow, still think GFS is right over UKMO regarding heavy snow tuesday unfortunately.
  4. NAE been quite consistent in showing some snow developing tommorow morning and sticking to it's guns, considering it's been pretty accurate lately and was the only chart to show snow on Thursday it may well be right. GFS has tommorow's systems minorly further west, not by much but northern parts of the region may get an additional cm or so.
  5. Metcheck is a load of rubbish anyway, UKMO going for another snow event tuesday but that's about it, let's see what the 18z brings.
  6. Yup near miss tommorow and Monday, and the rest of the week from the looks of things here
  7. We're like the one place in the UK on the 06z that stays bone dry dodging every snow risk there is!
  8. Winds turning ESE now, we've had the last of the snow from it now so just a few flurries overnight and tommorow, after that is anyones guess
  9. East Mids would get pelted with heavy snow two days running on this run, please please back westwards, pretty please
  10. It's a bit further north east from what I can see? worst of the snow tracks through East Anglia then swings north west into Northern England, still scope for change westwards hopefully.
  11. Snow fizzling out here now, 18z starting to run out, lets hope Sundays low is further west. Edit: Snow for Sunday further North East on Sunday now.
  12. Still coming down steady in Telford despite being on the very edge of it on the radar, had an extra 2cm or so this evening
  13. Fairly heavy snow surprisingly for the past half an hour here, starting to ease again now but nice to see there's still life in this front yet.
  14. Sunday's snow a little to far east at the moment for us, hoping for a trend westwards, it was progged to zip up through the North Sea yesterday, now shown as far west as Birmingham so let's hope the westerly trend continues.. In the meantime some snow flurries still this evening from the scrags of todays front, steady light snow here at the moment, -2.5c!
  15. Round two Sunday evening?? METO now showing snow all the way into Wales, GFS however has it an East Midlands event mainly with just flurries, hopefully will keep backing westwards.
  16. It's fizzled out here now, further flurries over the next 24 hours probably but most of it now over north Wales and the East Mids.
  17. Fizzled out into fine flurries here now, the Shropshire gap now forming on the radar, hopefully something can spring up again.
  18. SE/ESE at the moment, will turn increasingly easterly through the day. Down to -1.5c here now and falling slowly, snow is light but strong winds blowing it around, Sunday's event one to watch, tracking further west with each run, let's hope it continues.
  19. A few cm here in Telford, nothing to heavy here as the Telford snow shields ensured it doesn't explode till its north east of here just like yesterday .
  20. Moderate snow and howling winds here in Telford , only had 5 hours sleep from anxiety/excitement . GFS has moderate snow till the evening now yay.
  21. I was saying this morning we were in with a chance of a cm from the snowband today/this evening , definitely been a surprise seeing it develop so widespread though. Keeping fingers crossed we get some decent amounts tommorow though as it's looking mostly dry again next week due to Sunday/Monday's big snow fest for the East causing the atlantic low to deflect south into the bay of biscay.
  22. 18z shows the snow lighter and further South West again, gosh  think ill just stick to radar watching at this point.
  23. Snow coming down steadily here now surprisingly, managed just to stay on the edge of this weather front when it stalled luckily
  24. Back down to flurries here whilst it explodes further east  wasn't even meant to snow this evening further east but of course would never stall over us and pep up would it !
  25. Shock horror, flurries in Telford and explodes as it heads east  If tommorows snow ends up barely reaching here im done with this winter.
