Looks like it will game on for the London area based on the latest BBC forecast. Lightning shows here I come. Hopefully the Kent Clipper function of Kent won't fix it'self
While it may not be a direct hit for the home counties and London, based on what has been seen there should still be my favourite bit of a thunderstorm, the distant lightning flashes without thunder.
Nothing came to frutition today, the storms promised for London buggered off over europe, and probably what will happen when I turn up in Italy/Germany in a few weeks time, the UK will see some huge MCS event.
Sunday into Monday night looks like a possibility, but will it be another Kent Clipper. Or will the storms just bugger off to the storm magnet central of France and Belgium
It does look like the summer is back on the slow recovery. Yes, a bit of a low pressure mess tomorrow, but high pressure nudging in over the next week is always a good thing. I actually felt cold today.
I have to say, even though it is 32 outside, it is very pleasant, not muggy at all. Just like having a nice toasty bath. But it looks like humidity will be building towards this evening.
