Moderate to heavy snow here now. Started light here around an hour ago! I know it's transient but I'm still cheered by it. ❄❄❄

And here! fed up of hearing the rain pounding my skylights......

I'm close to Burton, heavy rain & blowing well, hoping it arrives asap

Send it down to us in lower parts of Staffordshire! I'm on the Derbyshire border

Finally got some here! Near Tutbury Burton on Trent. Very welcome sight. We are a couple of miles from the Derbyshire borders. Was thick & fast but slowed down now.

I have been so excited every week with the promise of snow to no avail. Got very optimistic this time, especially as I have a day off and the sky darkened late morning however since late morning it's rained nooooo

Just driven 23miles from Stafford back home to near Tutbury & it was blizzards all the way. Made for nervous driving through the lanes but exciting! Not much here at home but am hoping the blizzard will follow me! ?

Well put! I read Met Office but wanted to believe the MAD thread ( kidding myself) Never falling into that trap again, it's too depressing when the inevitable happens

I need a moan......... I'm so disappointed like so many of us, I was genuinely excited, planning a weekend walk in the snow, maybe a snow day off work ( ???) blah blah This morning, like a child, I was cheered by the snowflake crystal image on my phone, 10 mins later it changed to the rain symbol, nooooo No one said rain a week ago, I nearly cried, however I have driven to work in very light snow which is still falling now and weekend forecast is for more so i'm going to enjoy it for how ever many hours we have and tell myself it's better than none at all. What else can we do? So everyone who gets some, 1cm or 5cm lets revel in it! Sorry for those of us who have none at all, including myself if it doesn't materialise
