Hi Beka, l0ng time n0 hear, still n0t g0t the keyb0ard s0rted I see :unsure: . I am hoping to do weekly updates from here onwards. I would generally go to the site once a week (on a Saturday) to take photo's and check progression. I could go out there every day, but I feel the builders would just think i'm a pain in the ar$e and I really just want them to get on with it as they certainly know what they are doing :lol: Cheers Mick As long as we're in for Christmas mate that will keep us happy. I have asked the builder if he doesn't mind me going in when the spark is in as I need to run about 50 miles of Network Cable throughout the premises (planning for the future). The builder is very accomodating I must admit (well so far anyway), Mrs Dazza has already changed 3 doorways (taken one out, put another in and widened another), he's now asked her to keep away from the site though :lol: .

Careful TP, she'll poke you in the eye and you'll have trouble seeing.

Well I know you have all been waiting eagerly for the house build update so here we go (best explained in photo's) Pre Build 27th Feb 2007: (View from the site) Foundations laid 3rd March 2007: First Layers of Blocks in 10th March: (Mrs Dazza thinks she has spotted something)! Concrete slabs laid and Concrete base complete April 1st 2007: (Hard Dazza!!) Oh what a difference a week makes! April 8th 2007: Well thats it for now...... more updates as they happen soon!!

A snowy start to the day, which has since all melted! Currently clear, sunny and a temp of 3 degrees.

Very Heavy Snow showers settling in. Had a 1hr spell which stoppped about 10 minutes ago which has resulted in lying snow. This stopped and the sun came out. This lasted 5 minutes and a very heavy shower has started again. I cannot see a break in the cloud, so it could be another long one

Snow showers on and off, with lovely spells of sun in between. Very strong and biting wind though :lol: which spoils the sunshine somewhat :lol:

A dull but dry start to the day with a brisk SW wind (14 knots). Current temp 4 degrees.

Another glorious start to the day with a slight frost. However, it has vnow clouded over and started to rain. Current temperature 3 degrees.

A cracking example, I tried myself, but the gale force wind that was blowing round my tripod meant I could only produce an unacceptable distorted image :unsure:

Well it's been a while since my last entry , anyway, we gave the house build over to a contractor last week and he stated that it would be a few months before he could start, which we thought was fine as it gives us some time to get a few things sorted. Mrs Dazza passed our site today and witnessed the concrete footing being poured , as much as we are grateful for the quick start, it has taken us back a bit..... Anyway must run as I now have a million things to do in a week. I have decided to photo the build in stages and share them with all you lovely people, so the first photo's will follow soon........
