For those considering visiting Wales this weekend I would think very warm and sunny sums it up, doubt sea mist will feature anywhere really with the high so close and an easterly drift. 26c inland and 21c on exposed coasts I would say.

June 2013 Dry with near average temperatures With just 2 inches rainfall this was the driest June since 2010 (41mm), only one day having above 10mm (13.6mm 27th). A warm, dry and sunny first 10 days, was followed by a changeable pattern of westerly winds and some rain at times. Nothing terribly spectacular temperature wise either, although it dropped to below 2c on the 25th with a late grass frost. 1st – 10th: Dry, very sunny and warm/ very warm. Fronts bringing rain to Wales from early Tuesday morning, this spreading into Midlands by midday, although this may turn lighter and patchy through the afternoon, before a wet evening for West Wales. Cool with all the cloud on Tuesday, highs of just 14c or so for West Wales, but 18c for the Midlands, where a few brighter chinks may occur. Further rain at times through Tuesday night, much of it quite light though. A more appreciable spell of rain and strong winds likely overnight Wednesday into Thursday along the cold front of the system, a possibility the rain could linger a while, but Thursday more likely to eventually be a brighter day of sunny intervals and a few showers. Quite cool again on Thursday highs 16 to 19c west to middle. [/size][/font] [font=arial][size=3]Improvements from Friday, as high pressure takes charge over the UK, it will be dry and bright with sunny spells, warm over the Midlands, maxima up to 23c, but cooler with onshore breezes keeping it closer to 19c for coasts of West Wales. High pressure looks like remaining in control over next weekend also, so the promise of a fine, reasonably sunny and warm one, potentially very warm by Sunday when 26c may be reached over the Midlands, but refreshing sea breezes for the Welsh coasts, 20c nearer the mark here. Not a bad weekend coming up for us Midlanders I feel Conor. As Blizzards says sunny spells for all parts, luckily we are visiting this weekend! Mind not bad here in West Wales sunny and humid 19c currently.

That rain featured way more strongly and extensively today (Thursday), 10mm here and still falling! Snowdonia was indeed the cool spot, but only managing 13c at Capel Curig.
