Categorically not even a cold snap: min 5c last night and 9c at midday Friday! Mild in fact!
-
That Scandinavian depression turned in to quite a storm! However taking the cold air quickly east of UK by this weekend.
-
The early part of this week proving too overcast for any frost or fog!
-
West Wales certainly fared best for sun Monday - almost unbroken in fact!
-
Many thanks
-
Rain affected West Wales Wednesday afternoon and some was heavy, and quickly cleared east instead of lingering for Thursday!
-
Wednesday = oh well, better luck next time!
-
No Iberian high this weekend instead a UK cut off cold low, heat further east over Germany (31c) and warm too for Scandinavia. Contrast very cool over northern and western UK!
-
Sea fog affected North Pembrokeshire and SW Ceredigion coasts on Monday afternoon pegging temperatures to just 16c at Aberporth, that must be the unfortunate 1%! Glad we went to a sunny Red Kite Centre instead of Llangrannog beach!
-
A mainly dry week gone but breaking down earlier on Friday than anticipated, uncertainties were stressed however from this point!
-
So much for 'prospects of large amounts of rain remain low...sprinkles rather than downpours'
- Thursday night decided to produce a very wet moist flow depositing 2 inches of rain over parts of Wales, Trawsgoed 58.6mm in 24 hours for example! More than a sprinkle over the Midlands as well, half an inch in parts here too,

Fronts were early, some rain Thursday evening rather than Friday
-
Thursday cloudier for Carmarthenshire while Ceredigion was sunny!
31c widely for the Midlands Thursday.
-
Pembrey was a warm spot on the coast today, 26.6c!
-
That rain featured way more strongly and extensively today (Thursday), 10mm here and still falling! Snowdonia was indeed the cool spot, but only managing 13c at Capel Curig.
-
Apologies charts a little jumbled and some duplicated! Too much trouble to sort out!
-
Oh dear how wrong at just one day out for the Midlands, that stubborn cool cloud cover, 14c max Church Lawford, very wrong!
-
Don't know why the chart thumbnails not displayed they do open upon click though
-
The more widespread sunshine and warmth scenario played out today!
-
The rain certainly came off today!
-
Pretty good guide this week, should have been though, excellent agreement from the models last weekend!
-
So much for Pembrokeshire missing 'the worst of the showers on Friday'. South of that county thunderstorms, heavy hail, local floods, Milford Haven wettest in UK! However at leat the north of that county ws mostly dry..
-
Well we have had the couple of inches rain... in one day! More in Carmarthenshire, Pembrey 3 inches.
