Very surprised such warmth today and that it affected Wales too!
-
Well perhaps a ground frost Sunday night....
-
With Friday's low over Scotland the rain stayed up north with hill snow and very low temperatures. Well away from the frontal zone the Midlands was reasonably warm and dry.
-
A better week than anticipated, cool air mass yes cool no, at least not by day. Temperatures below average maxima, very cold nights. Today though most definitely rather warm! A sunny week to date rather than the anticipated sunny spells.
-
Apologies no charts in work!
-
Yeah hail showers today!
-
Breezy Moi?
-
Apologies no charts posted this week!
-
Decent sunny spells made us the mildest part of the country with Monday and Tuesday 11 - 13c, so not cool at all.
-
Fronts not likely to make inroads, a fine but rather cold weekend ahead.
-
Some decent sunny spells this afternoon. Max higher than expected as a consequence at 5.6c, although 30 minutes either side of this peak it was just 3c.
-
Not just hill snow, a good inch due to evap cooling here this afternoon!
-
Seems it has been cold enough today for snow showers in places, especially high ground in Wales and the Midlands. Max generally 5 to 7c.
-
So much for my -2c, already below -5c before midnight, bitter!
-
Both colder min and warmer max than expected due to clear skies, min -5.5c, max 16c.
-
Surprised at the -7.3c hard frost this morning, some of that cold air made it!
-
Not even a frost of late.
-
Decisively mild weather for whole of UK from Thursday in fact, dry too. No Scandinavian high re-build...just yet!
-
This snow prediction game is hard! Lowland accumulation Midlands Sunday, 8cm west of Coventry, and slight accumulations today parts of Midlands.
-
Overall a chilly not cold week., No snow here, and very little visible frost, somewhat more genuinely cold for the Midlands and at least they had a little snow. Just shows -8c uppers do not necessarily equate to very cold and snow, cold uppers did not establish.
-
Rubbish yesterday! Success today a Pembrokeshire Dangler most of the day!

Sometimes it goes wrong...badly wrong 6c currently! I was toying with a 'rather cold' headline, wish I had gone for that now, just hoping tomorrow is proper cold.
-
Mysteriously the precipitation has largely avoided West Wales overnight and this morning, so even the hills are snow free! Mid and East Wales copped it instead. GFS too low with it's temperatures for today, my 2 to 4c maxima have already been exceeded in places this morning.

I made quite a few errors (mainly spelling) this week, had to rush as work in the afternoon!
