Exceptional February high max and sunshine

A remarkable spell of day warmth and unbroken sunshine from 9th to 12th February. Max between 13.5c and 16.1c, highest on 12th. Unbroken and often bright sunshine and often calm conditions. Trawsgoed in north Ceredigion reached 18c on the 12th and was the warmest place in the UK on 3 out of these 4 days. Forecast is for more of the same tomorrow before it turns much cooler and cloudier.
  6. The third day of remarkable conditions in west Wales! Clear and frosty overnight. Min: -1.8c @ 0700. Dry again yesterday. Third day of unbroken sunshine (very bright and clear today), and slightly crazy maxima. Second day virtually calm too. Max: 13.6c @ 1400. Currently: Exceptionally clear. Temp: 6.8c. Pressure: 1031 mbar, falling slowly.
  7. The morning was still a bit chilly with the shade frost lasting til 1300. Became very mild after lunch with the unbroken though slightly hazy sunshine. Max: 13.6c @ 1445. So, for me, an astounding weekends weather for February draws to a close. Never experienced anything like it so early in the season. Currently: 10.8c, as we seemingly head for another frosty night. Pressure: 1031 mbar, steady.
