Drove from coleraine to cookstown and was surprised to see snow still up on the mountains. dropped the we'ans at they're group and found more snow from where it had been piled up.

Snowing again. going to get out and clear the driveway and roads.... again.

To be fair we did very well here overnight. Another inch or two. i cleared the road last night and more clearing to do this morning. eyes down for tonight.

I think I saw thunder snow but it may have been the generator station at the end of the road. ive seen TS only a few times but this time I wasn't looking up and I've got those rimless glasses. I saw the blue flash round the rim of the glasses and I started counting. got to ten and the power went off for about a minute. just blew the kids mind when I pointed out that the internet will go down with the power! ?

In laws have 5 inches lucky folk. im lucky too with 3 inches. Been out like a wean clearing the road and drive. Shattered now but good craic. may the force be with you RD

Home is all white. antrim is a whiter shade of green. and getting whiter. snow keeps coming and I'm looking forward to some snow building later.

Yea guys I've been reading here closely for months. We live in an island in the edge of the Atlantic. our position doesn't lend itself to Canadian style winters. there are rampers and nay Sayers in the model thread a plenty. I always considered this this regional discussion as more balanced. Happy new year to you all btw. Enjoy the the snow and to be fair in actually considering to going to wherever there is snow filling a bucket and taken it to Rochey in Dublin, chucking it over his head and taking him out for a rake o pints of the good stuff.
