    Congratulations to all who got some decent snow. I really enjoyed the cold we are getting. Even when Firmus cut through my electricity and phone line during last Thursdays storm!! Hats off to NIE who had problem sorted within 5 hours. BT took a bit longer but we're sucking diesel now! And Happy birthday Juuyoku!!

    We had the lightest of dusting here. Really glad for the west. The east has done well at their expense over the past few years. Now get out there and build snowmen, igloos and whatever you can. Be creative and post your pics!

    I'm still here folks. I'm always lurking and checking in to read every few days. Truth to tell I've been a beta tester for a game on the iphone that has has been released now for over a year called galaxy on fire alliance or GoFA for short. I'm the leader of the Jedi on server 1. It takes up most of my spare time that I'm allowed by my wife and kids. We have a thriving community from across the world. We got ourselves a website and some of our guys put an album together. It's quite eclectic. kinda doors meets oasis meets leftfield. Anyway if your boarding check our website in www.gofajedi.com and if really bored join the game on server one and let me know. I'll get you into our academy. One of our members works in a bar in cork and my folks went to it over the summer. He fed them and wouldnt let them pay. Gave them a tour of the factory. He is planning a star wars theme night and we are hopping one of our American guys will be over for it. It does make me sound like a total need but you know what... We all love a bit of star wars and we could be doing far worse things. Quere and windy out there the night hay! Looking forward to some snow soon!!

    My In-Laws still have a five foot snow drift at a tight bend in their road. Single file traffic still. Looking forward to the warm up now but intrigued by the power and logevity of this cold snap with potentially more snow this week!! Need to order oil soon! Happy Easter everyone!!!!

    Looks like we got incoming on the Antrim coast! I wonder if it will gain strength crossing the Irish Sea? Been building an igloo in the front garden but might be a bit ambitious. No shortage of snow though! Also took a drive up the Colin Road and it was mental. Got Some photo's will upload later. Big Snow drifts up there.

    serious night out there! I cleared the car about 7 and was down the town. Took 2 goes to get into the drive with 4WD. I cleared the drive earlier today but there is 3-4 inches on it again. Dont remember an event like this when i was old enough to appreciate it! Got close onto 22 hrs of snow now and still piling down. Photos will be added. My in laws are snowbound in the country with no power or phone line. When their batteries on their mobiles run out they are incomunicado! Serious stuff. Glad our power is on and i have had the heating on since. Keep safe folks!

    Power is back on YaY!!!!!!! Charging everything that can be charged while the power is on. takeaway tonight just to be on the safe side! Saw your pic on NIW Ronan! Good Man. Gonna put up a few more pics later. Should be seeing Captain Morgan soon!

    Has been snowing all day here. A good six inches and serious drifts. Have been without power for 2-3 hours now. Took my wee girl out initial for about 15 minstrel sledging but the wind is so strong the snow stings when it hits so hard. Definitely getting good heavier and it is also getting colder! Get home safe and sit tight folks!

    Just saw the radar..... Dear God! f that continues as snow better get back to your homes folks. My in laws are without power and cant light the fire without the pump on. Might be going up to get them down to ours for heat and food. Fire lit and heating on as power has been fluctuating (Was all soaped up in the shower and it cut out! Came back on though in a few minutes. Maybe too much info but there you go!). Good luck guys!

    Fair aul bit of blowing going on out there. Was in asda earlier and bread is flying off the shelves! Baltic too! Asda doing a special on Morgans. £16 a 70cl bottle and £14 a litre bottle! go figure! Need to do the final checks outside and clear the decks. If we get enough I might try for the igloo construction!!!! Snowmen photo competition Watcher???

    In Quadrophonics Neiller22???? Bottle of Morgans and usual stock up in ASDA. More coal on way home. At least if the power goes I can still get hot water!!!! Had a warning e-mail in work yesterday so lets see if it gets upgraded today! Have to travel from Ballyclare to Coleraine tomorrow morning and then back in the afternoon! This could test 4WD!!!
