    Tumble weed!!!!!! Snow has gone as has the risk of it...... as has the community! Hopefully my last day of work tomorrow and looking forward to a break. Been a solid straight slog since end of July. Here's to Christmas preparations! Love the run up to the big day even if its going to be green!

    well that was a slippy day if ever there was! road where i live is steep and the drive is steeper! reversing in past my wife car was dodgy enough. just sheet black ice everywhere. all going fairly quickly now though. Was at a carols by candles service this evening and last years was cancelled due to weather. So here comes the mild weather!

    Well now! That was a surprise. Just started to snow when I woke up and Ballyclare seemed to become gridlocked really quickly. I had to abandon the town route and bead out country way again. 4wd is definitley the way to go! Theflooding looked reallybad in the north west. Things very cold and the remaining slush has icedup now. tomorrow will be slippy alright! Our building had to be evacuated todsy because of a fire alarm. Honestly, the things you girls will do to seea fire man!

    I also have five. just checked on them and one has gone lame. curry anyone??? They do poo an incredible amount but it makes fantastic compost. not as much as FJ but considerably more useful. just checked the rain gauge and we have 54mm of rain so far this December.

    Im on the wait and see camp. Think we could get a wee surprise. Met office warnings are interesting. Accumulations from100m+. I found a great use for the snow shovel on Sunday morning! Was able to clean the chicken coop in a quarter of the time!

    Wild day altogether! Was 10c when i got to work this morning and 3 when i got home. Caught some snow driving over the Colin on way home but sleety in Ballyclare! i expect the snow line to drop well through the night. Gotta be in Coleraine for 8am.... Coukd be interesting!

    We had our weather alerts emailed in work on Monday for this boy and it certainly has progressed since then. Serious wind last night and same again for tommorrow! Batten down the hatches!

    Agreed MS. Till Thursday night then. Nice wee day ortwo to whet the whistle as it were. Could be tricky with icy roads in the morning.

    That shower has now passed us! lasted about a half hour or so. Fell as snow and was starting to get a grip on the roads. Cars are white and the grass got a bit of a top up. Lets hope for a showeror two overnight.

    just had another heavy shower through there briefly turning things white again. Gonna be very slippy on the roads tomorrow!! Funny the number of people in late to work and there really was very little in the way of snow.

    Its hit here. wet oul night for snow. the snow looks a bit wet and everywhere is soaking. brave old wind with it! Hoping things cool a bit and the snow level drops further but all in all glad to see the white stuff back!

    Saw the showers around teatime progress from sleet to snow. My wife's car is iced up good and proper. Country file was encouraging for Thursday Friday. It is as my name suggests out there! :cold:

    Wee bit of a breeze out there with the tree's bowing at an alarming angle! Christmas lights switch on in Ballyclare and a fireworks display that might go up sideways! mild enough day but wind none to pleasant!

    Nippy day alright! Got home and lit the fire! Turf cant be beat! Wee G&T and a watch of wannabe famous folk with crickets down their gunks!

    Seriously, did the sun come up today?? Seemed to be dark all day! Looks like more seasonal temps on the way! not depths of winter but more like what we should be! Get rid of this cr*p!!
