  1. Love the fact you offset the Sailor Jerry with as run Neiller! Bit to much vanilla for me. Morgans spiced all the way. Things are looking real good and if it does all go the way of the Y-Front, at least we will get some nasty stormy weather! Coal in.... Check! Turf in ..... Check!! Candles in ..... Check! Drink in ........ Check Check Check! Bring it on!
  2. Ive been out most of this evening in and around Ballyclare, lugging staging and 15ft book flats about (dont ask!). The temp has been ranging from 1-2-3 degrees. It has also been tryingto snow on and off throughout. After it being such a wet aul day it has certainly been drying up and it makes me wonder if we are getting the drying before the snow? I dont expect much from this week but I wouldn't be surprised if we got a bit of a covering in the morning. Does anyone else remember St. Patricks Day about 2002 ish when it was totally abnormally warm? I remember being out in student land in Belfast (Holy land area), and us students lifting out the sofas from the houses onto the street and basking in warm sunshine.
  3. Had some lovely showers today with snow, graupel and hail all thrown into the mix! Still getting the odd showers now and with the temps dropping like a stone out there we could get a wee dusting for the morning! Love surprises, particularly as im in full Spring mode and wanting to get the veg patch into shape. Love getting into the garden at this time. Its freezing but the time put in here means you can enjoy the lazy days of summer with the veg growing as they should. Good luck to those in the firing line and all my hopes for Cork (bout bloody time!)
  4. Went to bed about 11ish last night and looked out to see the rain we had been having all day had turned to fine snow / graupel. Had a dusting when I got up this morning much to the kids excitment. Think thats probably all we will get from this and its the turn of our brethren to the south! Best of luck folks!
  5. Absolutley Baltic out there now! Light snow throughout most of the day here right up to tea time. Temps have dropped right off now but thats ok cos the fire is lit and Captain Morgan has called for a visit! Brrrrrrrrrrrrr.
  6. My glorious summers as a child involved watching 'wish you were here' with Judith Chalmers, beside a radiant heater! Noticeable stretch to the nights now. Spring is upon us and I'm itching to get the garden kicked off!
  7. Andymusic, you're welcome to them and let's hope they pick up some moisture onthe way! good weekend covering here and will be out shortly to clear the cars. Enjoy..... those who can!
  8. Just got to watch a lovely shower there! Proper big flake snow that got a grip on the cars, grass and starting on the roads. Lets hope for some more then!
  9. Just had a wee duke out the window there and found the grass was white! Nice!
  10. It's for a drama club in a fairly big church hall. Been looking at a48 ch light desk and 32 ch sound desk. I'll pm you with my thoughts . Be great if you could look at it!
  11. Looking forward to the upcoming events. Pity its not at the weekend but who knows what the future may bring. PS anybody know stuff about dmx lighting and sound desk etc? Looking at a fairly big purchase of stuff and could do with some friendly advice.
  12. Been snowing here all day but its fine stuff. Not really making much head way with a bit of a thaw going on too! Family all home Which is far better than 6 ft of snow!
  13. Forgot to mention we had thunder snow on Saturday Night. Fourth time ever seeing this. Impressive! Snowing again here and more on the way by the look of the radar.
  14. Took our eldest home to go out the back for a spot of snowman building before we go back to Antrim. Look who else turned up beside the snowman!
  15. I have had cause to be on the road a lot last night and tonight and it really has been something else here. My wee girl was brought into Antrim hospital yesterday (thought meningitis but not thankfully). Scary night and a lot to be thankful for! We seemed to have caught that streamer bang on. I would say we got 3-4inches here and up in the hinterlands to the north about 5-6 inches. Unreal stuff! I drive a 4x4 and glad I was. Only tractors and 4x4's could go up there! We have done exceptionally well out of this.
  16. Oh dear! Just gonna have to see what today brings and if not wait for later in the weekend and Monday!
