Agreed, it makes a very welcome change to see all parts of the uk basking in glorious sunshine and temps into the 80's F, hopefully it will happen again during the summer.
Absolutely stifling right now with another night to look forward to where the temp is unlikely to drop below 18 before 5am. No thank you.

Normal temperatures will suit me. Our homes are designed to store heat, not expel it. Makes sleeping in what will easily be 16/17c over the next 2 nights very difficult.

Models showing some real heat possible from wed/thurs of next week. I know a lot of you are waiting with baited breath, but for someone who doesn't deal well with heat at all, the prospect of 26c/16c is not going to be nice. I'm feeling physically sick just thinking about it...
Makes me with I could just crawl into a refrigerated box for the next 4 months. Or move to Lerwick...

26-ish by day and I'm guessing around 16-17c nights? I'll never understand how people look forward to sweating from dawn until dusk.

Then you must have a fan with the strength of a wind tunnel. Why don't you crank up your heating and sweat to your heart's content? Some of us find 18c nights absolute hell.
